Introduction to Chinese Patent Medicine
This is a two day workshop. (Introduction to Chinese Herbal Medicine is a prerequisite.)
Workshop Description: This course will cover the most commonly prescribed Chinese Patent herbs along with their functions and indications. Students will become acquainted with the formulas utilized for a number of common illnesses and disease conditions. The application of patent formulas as adjuncts to both bodywork and acupuncture treatment will be discussed. In addition to patents based on traditional formulas, some modern research formulas will also be studied.
